The Three Stages

Stage One - Assessment

The US Coaches are interested in your golf, because they are responsible for building the Universities golf team and how they play in tournaments. They are equally interested in your academics, you are going to a university after all!

USA ProJAm will need to sit down with you to find out how these two elements are looking so we can recommend which academic institution best fits your profile.

If you are eligible, keen and we feel there is a very good chance of placing you then we can progress to stage two.

 Stage Two - Marketing

At this stage you will have retained ProJAm’s services and we need to capture your swing electronically and create a file of your academic and golfing achievements. This is so that the Coaches we contact, on your behalf, will have the opportunity to see what we are promoting.

ProJAm has a very good reputation but the Coaches need to see you, for their own peace of mind.

When we have assessed you accurately and a Coach likes what he sees then we move to stage three. During this stage it is not uncommon for the Coach to invite you to the University for an official visit, where they get to meet and show you the University and its facilities.

Stage Three - Transition

At this stage we would expect you to be getting to know your Coach, sitting your SAT exams and then getting your SAT exams in to the clearing house so that the University which you want to go to will deem you eligible.A letter of intent will be issued by the University, a form of contract which will confirm your intentions to go to the University.We will be looking to get you an appointment to the US Embassy so that your immigration paperwork can be processed and a visa can be issued. During this stage the final payment becomes due.

This is obviously a simplified guide to the process, we will go through each step with you.
