We are regularly approached by players and parents frustrated by the lack of support and good golf career advice offered by the various golf organisations which surround the amateur game.
As a result too many amateurs are turning professional without the necessary skills required to make a success of tournament professional golf. They are turning professional believing that all they need is a golf game. The truth is that there are many other life skills which need to be in place before you go to Tour School.
Projam are experts in junior golf development. We understand the skills which are required and we are here to help you gain them.
"You bring the swing and we'll take care of everything else!"As a player you want to play golf and dedicate your time to improving your game. As a parent, however, you want your child to play and also put some energy into gaining qualifications.
There is plenty of time to do both. Did you know the average age of the top hundred players on the European Tour is 32 and the average age of the players on the Challenge Tour is 27. That’s the average age of the best players in Europe. The professional game is a lot tougher than you will probably ever imagine.
With the game getting tougher and the players getting better we believe that you have to consider gaining qualifications before chasing your dream. It is the ultimate insurance policy. A success story for ProJAm is if a player does not make it on the Tour, he/she can then secure a career in the golf industry
Regardless of your academic prowess there are plenty of options available. |
