Golf Assessment & Golf Career Guidance

ProJAm - On Course For Life

ProJAm’s founding mission statement was to be able to give expert, impartial advice to talented players and their families who want to turn Professional. The advice given is always with a slant towards education/qualifications because it is common knowledge that whilst a few make a living out of playing golf the majority do not.  Golf career guidance is necessary due to the hugely competitive nature of professional golf.

The world of golf, however, has many opportunities open to the disciplined player; this is why melding education and whole game improvement is prudent.

There has to be a constant comparison between the player and the tournament professional he/she wants to be. Are you the finished player or are there areas of your game which need improving?  Projam's Golf Assessment will help you to establish these areas for improvement.

The key questions the parents and players have to answer are:

Do you believe you are good enough?
Do you have enough talent?
Are you ready to play on the Tour?
If not, what do you need to do to improve?

The main differences between a Tour Professional and an amateur are:

Consistency
• Having a complete game (doing all the important things well)
• Preparation
• Mental Strength
• Belief
• Course management, shot selection, knowing yardages,
  always playing to your strengths.
• Ball flight and ball control.

These differentials can be broken down into the five areas of importance:

1. Swing/technique
2. Metal toughness
3. Support Network
4. Fitness/Flexibility
5. Desire

If the player has a weakness in these areas the chance of graduation to the Professional game is diminished. Because we have played with the best and understand what it takes to compete with the best, we can assess your strengths and give you a good plan for your future.

By filling out the application form or giving us a call we can get you on the right track to Professional golf.
